GATES Concludes Basic Agreement for Business Alliance with Kansai Electric Power on Grid-Scale Battery Storage Business
– Commences Joint Exploration, Acquisition, and Feasibility Study of Project Sites –
GATES株式会社（本社：東京都新宿区、代表取締役：関野 雄志、以下「GATES」）は、関西電力株式会社（本社：大阪府大阪市、以下「関西電力」）と、系統用蓄電池事業を念頭に置いた事業用地の探索、取得および事業スキームの検討に関する業務提携基本契約（MOU）を締結し、共同検討を開始いたしました。
Tokyo, Japan – GATES Inc. (“GATES” or the “Company”)has entered into a Basic Agreement for Business Alliance (MOU) with Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka; hereinafter “Kansai Electric Power”) regarding the exploration and acquisition of project sites and the examination of business schemes for grid-scale battery storage projects. The two companies have commenced joint studies based on this agreement.
